  • Alex Carreri (Double bass)

    Italian bassist and composer. Active on the professional music scene since the mid-1990s, he has performed internationally alongside acclaimed artists such as Scott Hamilton, Eric Darius, Fabrizio Bosso, Eric Marienthal, Javier Girotto, Varijashree Venugopal and Randy Brecker. He is currently Professor of Electric Bass at the Conservatory, combining his teaching career with extensive activity as a performer, recording artist, composer, and bandleader.

Throughout his career, he has worked across a wide range of musical projects, moving seamlessly from electronic music – defined by modern, experimental textures – to rock, with its powerful and engaging energy.

Master DP doesn’t confine his creativity to a single style; instead, he explores new sonic landscapes, blends diverse influences, and experiments with instruments and production techniques.
