Nostalgia Take One was born from Giuseppe Cataldo’s intimate desire to pay tribute to Norino Buogo, a refined musician to whom he is bound by a deep and enduring friendship. This tribute also represents, for Giuseppe, a form of personal return – interwoven with his own musical journey – while at the same time serving as a natural bridge to the interpreter of these pages, Giovanna Borruso: a pianist of great sensitivity and expressiveness, as well as his life partner. It is she who made this passage possible – from one hand to another, from one experience to another, from one time to another.
